MATTHEWS, N.C. — A man is in jail after a string of break-ins and thefts in Matthews, police say.

Juan Carlos Mancia, 22, faces multiple felony charges, including breaking and entering and larceny. Investigators say the break-ins targeted multiple businesses in Matthews.

Mancia is charged with four counts of felony breaking and entering and two charges of felony larceny in connection with the crime spree. He's being held in the Mecklenburg County jail on multiple felonies from multiple jurisdictions, police said.
