LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - Saturday afternoon, flames broke out on Patchen Drive, causing devastating damage.

“To say it’s devastating is definitely an understatement,” said Sara Drager.

“We don’t have even our scissors, combs, anything,” said Liz Moreno.

Expose salon is completely gutted. Sara Drager owns the Ornate Onyx as an advanced nail tech. It operates out of the salon.

“I had to furnish everything, I had to buy my own equipment, everything is pretty messed up...I didn’t realize all my things had to go through an Ozone room that is very expensive,” said Drager.

In an instant, all her hard work was gone.

Salon owner Liz Moreno says it will take about 6 months to operate again.

She lost more than just a business.
