Man wounded outside Youngstown bar

YOUNGSTOWN Detectives are investigating after one person was shot outside a bar on Youngstown's Southside.

Police say a man was taken to the hospital late Thursday after he was wounded outside the Steel City Bar on Midlothian Blvd. and Shirley Road.

The victim, whose name has not yet been released, is said to be in stable condition.

Police are still working to find out who shot the man and why.
