Another “Cool-ish” day is in the making as we end the week, with a few passing showers, but no severe weather. Some might remain dry and overcast with little rain or a mix of mist and drizzle. Our northeast wind will continue, creating a high risk of rip currents for both the Outer Banks. Highs remain the upper 70s to lower 80s.
Heading into the weekend, we are breezy on Saturday with a northeastly component. We will see higher gusts along the coast. If you are heading to the beaches, watch for the flags. As for inland locations, a few heavy downpours are possible with the daytime heating. Shower chances slowly dip for the coastline on Sunday, but a few spotty showers could sneak in for inalnd counties. Temperatures remain in the mid-80s, and overnights remain in the low-to-mid 70s.
