DORA, Ala. —

Many Walker County students are returning to school, but some, especially students at Dora High School, will notice some changes.

Students will start next year in a brand-new $45 million school that features state-of-the-art classrooms, an auditorium, and a new gym.

While hundreds will call the new school home, Walker County Superintendent Dennis Willingham has plans for the old campus.

"We are looking at renovating the old Dora High School so that we can move our middle school students there, and we hope to be done with that project by Christmas," said Willingham.
