BAY CITY, MI – The Bay County Sheriff’s Marine Patrol unit oversees a vast water territory spanning 30 miles of shoreline and 188 square miles of water, making water safety a year-round priority for the department.
During a recent presentation before the Bay County Board of Commissioners, Marine Deputy Scott Carmona detailed the unit’s comprehensive operations, which include dive teams, sheriff’s patrol, ORV patrols, and both underwater and aerial drone teams.
