GAFFNEY, S.C. —

A domestic dispute call in Gaffney, South Carolina, led to a significant weapons and drug seizure, according to the Gaffney Police Department.

On Aug. 4. Gaffney Police Department officers were called to a domestic dispute in the 100 block of Walnut Street.

When officers made contact with the suspect, later identified as Dylan Rhett Simpson, 34, they say they found a Glock 27 equipped with an illegal machine gun conversion device, along with:

Three standard magazines

29-round extended magazine

Two knives

3D-printed pair of brass knuckles

Cherokee County Detention Center

During a search of Simpson, officers say they also found 5.9 grams of methamphetamine and two dosage units of Adderall.
