ATMORE, Ala. (WKRG) — Two people were injured during a Thursday evening shooting in Atmore.

According to an Atmore Police Department news release, at about 5 p.m., dispatch received several 911 calls of shots fired and a person being shot.

Officers responded to the 300 block of Everett Avenue, where they found two people who had been shot, the release said.

INCIDENT LOCATION:

One of the victims was taken to a local trauma center with non-life-threatening injuries, while the second victim was treated at the scene after being grazed by a bullet, according to the release.
