NEW MIDDLETOWN, Ohio (WKBN) -- A village of New Middletown man has been charged again for the condition of his property on East Calla Road.

Richard Cavanaugh is charged with operating a solid waste facility without a license as well as open dumping.

Cavanaugh's front yard is filled with vehicles, appliances, tires, propane tanks and more, according to court records. From the outside, it appears all to be contained within a decaying wooden fence.

In 2023, Cavanaugh was ordered to get rid of the "public health nuisance," but after failing to do so, it was declared unsafe by the Mahoning County District Board of Health.

Cavanaugh was booked into the Mahoning County jail on Thursday.
