SHREVEPORT, La. (KTAL/KMSS) – Two brothers previously indicted on federal armed robbery charges now face an additional federal indictment for the victim's death by using a firearm.

Acting U.S. Attorney Alexander C. Van Hook announced on Friday, August 8, 2025, that a grand jury returned a superseding indictment on brothers Kevin Terrell Lewis, aka Kelvin Lewis, 38, of Arlington, Texas, and Larry Dewayne Lewis, 44, of Shreveport.

The brothers were indicted for "robbery and conspiracy to use, carry, brandish, and discharge firearms during and in relation to a crime of violence." The superseding indictment adds another charge of causing death to the victim, Billy Jamison.
