MOBILE, Ala. (WKRG) — Mobile Police Department officers have arrested a local woman accused of stealing a vehicle from a local gas station.

According to an MPD news release, officers were called to the Pride Gas Station on Springhill Avenue around 8 a.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 6, for a report of a theft.

INCIDENT LOCATION:

Officers arrived at the gas station and found that a man had left his vehicle running while he went inside the store, and when he came back out, it was gone.

MPD officials said patrol officers saw a vehicle that matched the man's description shortly after and pulled it over.

The driver, 32-year-old Jessica Inez Henderson, of Mobile, was arrested and charged with first-degree theft of property.
