SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (KY3) -As students return to the classroom, many parents are celebrating with a picture of their child’s first day of school.

However, police are warning that the signs commonly used in those pictures may have too much information on them to be safely posted online.

The Greene County Sheriff’s Office previously shared examples of what to do and not do. If you don’t plan to share the picture online, then these rules don’t apply.
