MINNEAPOLIS — The Minneapolis Police Department is investigating an overnight stabbing that left one person dead on Saturday.
According to a press release, officers received a report around 12:44 a.m. of a stabbing on the 1000 block of 14 Street East. Upon arrival, they discovered a man in his 40s with life-threatening injuries.
Authorities say they provided medical aid and performed CPR until the arrival of EMS. The individual died at the Hennepin Healthcare Hospital, the statement read.
The MPD has opened an investigation into the details of the incident.
