EVANSVILLE, Ind (WEVV) – A call for suspicious activity in a car has lead to arrests of four teenagers in Daviess County.

The Daviess County Sheriff's Office responded to reports of a blue car with obscured plates and occupants wearing ski masks, driving slowly in the the Deer Valley subdivision on Friday after 7:00 p.m.

A deputy saw the vehicle and attempted to stop it on Valley Brook Trace, but the suspects fled.

Records show a second deputy was almost hit while in pursuit of the suspects.

The chase ended on Hill Bridge Road near Highway 231 due to heavy traffic.

Authorities detained all four suspects and found with them ski masks, a loaded AR-15 rifle, and a loaded 9mmhandgun that was previously reported stolen.
