MILLCREEK — Two weeks after the devastating Willow Glen Apartment Fire, the community is coming together in a powerful way through music, memories and generosity.
Tonight, the Leprechaun Pub & Grill is buzzing with energy. You can hear the band from the sidewalk, and inside, it’s a full-blown fundraising event aimed at helping a couple of beloved regulars who lost their homes in the fire.
“Everyone here is family,” said Kris Lien, owner of the Leprechaun. “It makes me feel good as a bar owner that they would feel comfortable —after something like that — that this would be the first place they would come.”
One of those regulars is Wes Hunt, a familiar face at the bar and tonight, the bass player on stage. Hunt lost his home in the Willow Glen apartment fire , but he’s finding comfort
