BEREA, Ohio — Shots were fired at the Cuyahoga County Fair Saturday night, according to fair officials.
The Fair Board released no other information, but said it is working closely with police to investigate the shooting, which happened the penultimate night of the fair. Berea police have not released any information.
“Please trust that it is with a heavy heart that this occurred as it has been a beautiful fair week with record-breaking attendance,” the fair said in a statement.
In its final day today, the fair is scheduled to operate as normal today from 12 p.m. to 10 p.m., officials said.
