Two people are in custody after a 15-year-old was fatally shot during an apparent robbery attempt, according to the Detroit Police Department.
Capt. Todd Messeneo said the incident occurred just before11 p.m. in the 31000 block of Hendricks, when the teen confronted a man in his 20s with a concealed pistol license.
"Took one individual in custody standing in front of the location. The deceased was found four blocks east. Another individual standing next to the deceased was taken into custody," Messeneo said. "At this point it's been a robbery gone bad."
