YOUNGSTOWN - After three days of celebration with music, food, games, and more, the Slovak Fest put on by Our Lady of Sorrows St. Christine's Church in Youngstown has ended.

The final day was the biggest by far. The church hosted more live music, a large bake sale, their "Grand Basket Raffle," games for the attendees and plenty of food.

The Raffle featured over 150 prize baskets, according to Father John Jerek, the church's pastor.

The music comes courtesy of a Slovak folk group and is returning to the church after their performance last year.

The Slovak menu included plenty of cultural staples. They served kielbasa and saurkraut sandwiches, pierogi, haluski, stuffed cabbage, and more with an ice cream stand for dessert.
