FARWELL, Texas (KCBD) - Coming off their first losing season since 2008, Farwell enters 2025 with a new Head Coach as former Estacado Assistant Derrick Shelton returns to the area to lead the Steers.

The tradition to fare well year after year drew Coach Shelton to the job as well as great kids and parents in a great community.

Depth with be a strength for the Steers as they have over 60 kids.

The plan is to put the kids in the best position they can and have and be the best they can be.
