(WJW) -- Monday will be the 11th straight day without rain, which is the longest stretch of dry weather so far this year. It has been a dry start to August; not even a trace of rain has been recorded in Cleveland this month.

A few rain showers and storms will develop Tuesday afternoon into Tuesday night as a cold front approaches the area. The rain coverage will be limited. Storms will move slowly so pockets of heavy rain are likely.

The highest chance of rain this week will come on Wednesday when the cold front moves through Northeast Ohio.

The long range outlook keeps temperatures and humidity above normal through this weekend. We will get a break from the heat and humidity next week.
