After more than nine years on the Interior Alaska airwaves, KUAC reporter Robyne signs off as a regular voice reporting the news and heads into retirement.

“For KUAC, I’m Robyne” or “From Fairbanks, I’m Robyne,” have been her usual sign-offs.

Robyne’s journalism career in Alaska spans about four decades, including time as a KUAC TV operator, an itinerant radio reporter, in television and back to radio.

“People all deserve good information all the time about what is happening, why those decisions are being made and what those impacts are,” Robyne said. “It’s a calling, a mission, a religion to have your community informed.”
