BILOXI, Miss. (WLOX) - Homeless advocates in Biloxi and those they serve are questioning Biloxi’s latest effort to move homeless people away from tourist areas.
As WLOX News reported last week, Mayor Andrew ‘FoFo’ Gilich wants the county to remove a beach shade structure following an uptick in homeless hanging out near the structure, preventing beachgoers from enjoying the area.

Lying on sidewalks, under trees, and on the beach, the homeless population in Biloxi continues to maneuver through life on the streets.
