Police rescued a Wrentham, Massachusetts, resident from a burning home on Monday afternoon moments before it erupted in flames.

"We had her jump. We all caught her. She landed on top of us and then the house completely went up," Wrentham Police Sgt. Jon Coliflores said of the rescue.

The daring rescue occurred as fire burned through the home along the shoreline of Lake Pearl, where three police officers found the resident on the balcony screaming for help.

“We had to convince her and let her know that she has to jump because the house is fully engulfed so she better jump now and she did," Coliflores said.
