U.S. Representative Barry Moore, R-Alabama, announced his campaign for U.S. Senate on Tuesday, vowing to stand with President Donald Trump against “the Washington swamp, the RINOs and the socialists and communists running the Democrat Party.”

“I’m running for Senate because the people of Alabama deserve a Trump conservative and a working man who will defend their freedoms,” Moore said. “As the first elected official in the country to endorse President Trump, I will have his back and defend the MAGA agenda in the Senate, just like I have as a member of the Freedom Caucus in the House of Representatives.
