Alex Jones has revealed that her break from The One Show is ‘not relaxing’ as she shared her family holiday road drama.

The presenter is enjoying a break from her BBC talk show duties after celebrating 15 years as its face on Friday night (August 8).

In a fun twist to the normal format , Alex was asked to take out her earpiece and be a guest for the evening, as Richard Osman joined Roman Kemp as a presenter.

Towards the end of the emotional episode, Alex couldn’t believe it as her husband of over a decade Charlie Thomson was introduced without her knowing.

"It's very weird, it's weird being this side. It's weird being next to you. You're normally in the garden, building the treehouse now,” Alex joked.
