Port Angeles – Port Angeles officials said water pressure had been fully restored as of Tuesday morning, August 12, and thanked water customers for their conservation efforts over the last few weeks.

They added that if customers detected any minor discoloration in the water, they should simply run their faucet(s) for a few minutes until the tap runs clear. If the water pressure does not return to normal or discoloration in the water doesn’t correct itself after flushing, customers should contact the Public Works Department at (360) 417-4800.

The water pressure issues were the result of the City’s Jones Street Reservoir Valve Replacement Project, which began on July 17.
