One resident and two firefighters were taken to the hospital after a fire broke out in a home in Falmouth, a town on Cape Cod , Saturday night, officials said.
Crews found heavy smoke and fire coming from the home on Plum Hollow Road around 8 p.m., according to the Falmouth Fire Department . The kitchen and the back of the house were heavily damaged by the fire.
All occupants, including the family dogs, were rescued from the house. One resident and two firefighters were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
