A Fresno man has been busted in South Dakota in what was the largest methamphetamine seizure in state history.

South Dakota officials announced that Alonso Molinacorona, 42, has been indicted on two felony counts after being arrested while transporting 207 pounds of crystal methamphetamine in Sturgis.

Driving the news: Molinacorona, a Fresno resident who is also a Mexican national, was stopped by a South Dakota Highway Patrol trooper for speeding on Interstate 90 in Sturgis. • The officer found the methamphetamine in Molinacorona’s vehicle, which has a street value of $12 million.
