LONGVIEW, Wash. — The Los Angeles Police Department has arrested a suspect wanted in connection with the stabbing of two Longview residents that left one dead.
Alexander Lee Rogers was arrested Tuesday, a week after police responded to Terumi Lane and found two adults who had been stabbed inside their home. One, 64-year-old Dawn Peters, was dead at the scene, while 73-year-old Andrew Peters had to be airlifted to the hospital but is currently recovering at home.
The victims were in-laws, and Rogers knew them. Witnesses reported Rogers drove away from the scene before officers arrived, and police issued a nationwide extradition.
Police said afterwards that Rogers had been released from prison just 10 months ago after serving more than two decades for violent crimes committed in August 2
