SAN DIEGO (Border Report) -- San Diego Sector Border Patrol agents assigned to the Brown Field Station rescued a brother and sister who were on the brink of dehydration last week.
According to a Border Patrol news release, agents first encountered an unaccompanied 16-year-old Mexican male attempting to enter the U.S. illegally through the remote Otay Mountain Wilderness Area east of the Otay Mesa Port of Entry.
The young man was said to be exhibiting signs of severe dehydration, so agents requested emergency medical services transporting the teen boy by ambulance to a nearby hospital for care.
