SPOKANE, Wash. – Members of Spokane’s Police Department’s Special Investigations Unit recently executed a search warrant that uncovered a large batch of drugs, firearms, explosives and $255,000 in cash, according to the Spokane Police Department.

Among the explosives were a foreign military hand grenade, a training bomblet that was once part of a cluster bomb and a modified firework. Members of the Explosive Ordinance Disposal Unit responded to take care of the explosive items and rendered them safe at a separate location.

The stash of firearms included 63 firearms. Three of them were stolen.

Amongst the drugs were one pound of fentanyl powder and five pounds of methamphetamine.

Special Investigations Unit is still investigating. Criminal charges are pending.
