BROWNSVILLE — The second day of trial for the owners of Abby’s Bakery in Los Fresnos, who face federal harboring charges on accusations of concealing people in the country illegally, saw government prosecutors resting after hearing testimony from the lead agent Tuesday, as well as video depositions from two former employees.

The government rested after calling five agents as witnesses since trial began Monday. Their testimony was heard in Brownsville federal court before U.S. District Judge Fernando Rodríguez.
