PORT ANGELES — The Washington State Patrol has issued a Silver Alert on behalf of the Port Angeles Police Department for a missing 77-year-old woman.

Carol Durran was last seen at about 11 a.m. Tuesday in the 500 block of East Park Street in Port Angeles. Police say she is unable to return without assistance and may be a significant distance from where she was last seen. She was on foot at the time of her disappearance.

Durran is described as 5 feet 6 inches tall, weighing 135 pounds, with gray hair and hazel eyes. She was last seen wearing light blue jeans and a long-sleeve white turtleneck featuring small dogs and red houses, along with a beige-colored garment.

Anyone who sees Durran is urged to call 9-1-1 immediately.
