A man and woman found dead in a Raynham home last week were determined to be victims of an apparent murder-suicide, authorities said Monday.

Marie Hunt, 37, and Mark Henshaw, 35, were killed in the double-shooting on Friday.

Hunt died from a shotgun wound to the chest, and Henshaw, who dated Hunt and lived with her on Elm Street West, turned the gun on himself and died from a head wound, Bristol District Attorney Thomas M. Quinn III’s office said Monday.

The shooting is being investigated by Raynham police and State Police detectives assigned to the district attorney’s office, authorities said.

Police found two children inside the home after they were summoned there by a 911 call around 12:05 p.m. Friday, but they were not physically harmed, Quinn said in a statement.
