More than 100 Cincinnati neighbors gathered for a town hall Tuesday, at an event meant to get voters engaged.

The organizer behind this town hall said she wanted to make sure constituents' voices were heard, calling the night a call to action to several in attendance running for state and local offices.
Christy Pember is the leader of the group Coffee Compassion Action and also a teacher.
She organized the town hall after reaching out to state representatives to talk about cuts to assistance programs that her students rely on, and got no response.
She says she wanted this to be a forum for folks to voice their concerns.
