STOCKTON, Calif. —

Following months of infighting by the Stockton City Council, one of the members is pleading for unity and focus.

At Tuesday's upcoming city council meeting, Michelle Padilla is asking city leaders to end the drama and get back to business, calling the infighting embarrassing.

Padilla wrote a letter to her fellow Stockton city leaders urging them to stop the fighting and to get back to making the city a better place to live for everyone.
