OCRACOKE, N.C. — Cape Hatteras National Seashore and the N.C. Wildlife Resources Commission will co-host a public workshop later this month on Ocracoke Island focusing on the behavior and biology of coyotes.

The workshop is scheduled for Wednesday, Aug. 27, from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. at the Ocracoke Community Center, 999 Irvin Garrish Hwy.

Attendees will also get the chance to learn about laws and regulations related to coyotes, as well as practical methods to prevent or reduce conflicts with coyotes.
