TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) - For at least the sixth time in six months, authorities are investigating a violent attack connected to public transit in Tucson.
The Tucson Police Department confirmed there was a fight and stabbing at the Roy Laos Transit Center, located near Sixth Avenue and Irvington, on Tuesday, Aug. 12.
The TPD said the incident happened about 9:30 p.m.
Officers responded for reports of a group of people fighting and one of them being armed with a knife.
Officers arrived and found an intoxicated victim with stab wounds to his arm.
He was transported to a hospital for further treatment.
A security guard stated there was a group of people violently fighting at the Laos Transit Center.
Any suspects left the scene before police arrived.
The investigation is ongoing.
