A suspected drug dealer had his morning 'turned upside down' in a series of raids across Tameside on Wednesday (August 13).

Officers attended two properties across the borough, where a large quantity of Class A drugs and other criminal paraphernalia was uncovered.

Photos showed officers in raid gear making arrests as one man was dragged to a police van. A total of five suspects were arrested for a range of offences, police confirmed.

A statement shared by Greater Manchester Police read: "A suspected drug dealer had his morning turned upside down. He was arrested on suspicion of assaulting officers following a warrant in Tameside today (Wednesday 13 August 2025).
