Someone has been stealing mail - mostly greeting cards - since April 1st or earlier in seven small communities southwest of Fargo. (Horace, Kindred, Davenport, Leonard, Sheldon, Enderlin and Lisbon) There have been some stories on the problem. Apparently the thief has been found and is being prosecuted. According to the post office, the problem has been solved. Not exactly.
Complaints about missing mail were coming into post offices as early as May. Why weren't people informed that there might be a problem? Most of us did not find out until July 31st or later.
