Newnan Country Club crowned its 2025 champions Aug. 9–10, with strong play across all divisions and a debut for the club’s newly upgraded greens.
A.J. Salierno, a rising senior at Newnan High School, captured his second Men’s Club Championship in three years, finishing at 1-under par over two rounds.
He won by six strokes over Trey Walker (75-74), while Bennett Smith finished one shot back in third. Preston Wise and Salierno’s NHS teammate Davis Pope rounded out the top five.
In the Senior Men’s division, Charley Knight defended his title, holding off Jeff Murphy by two shots. Jac Counts, Chad Sanders and Paul Kemink tied for third.
The Super Senior crown came down to the final three holes, with John Meredith edging three-time defending champion Pic Parks by two strokes.
