MITCHELL — The Mitchell Community Schools Board of Trustees will convene a special session on Monday, August 25, 2025, to hold a public hearing on the proposed 2026 budget.
The meeting is scheduled to begin at 5:00 p.m. at the Mitchell Community Schools Central Office, located at 441 North 8th Street. The primary item on the agenda is the public hearing for the 2026 budget, where community members can offer input and ask questions.
Immediately following the public hearing, the board will enter into an executive session. This private meeting, as outlined in Indiana Code § 5-14-1.5-6.1 (b)(2)(A), is for the discussion of strategy regarding collective bargaining. No public discussion or votes will be taken during the executive session.
