Calgary police are seeking assistance from the public to identify a male suspect involved in a random assault at the Marlborough CTrain station. The incident occurred on July 11 at approximately 4:25 p.m.
According to police reports, a man was standing on the CTrain platform when he was approached from behind and assaulted. The victim fell to the ground and briefly lost consciousness. The suspect fled the scene immediately after the attack.
Authorities have stated that the victim and the suspect did not know each other, indicating that the assault was random. The victim was transported to a hospital, where he was treated and later released in stable condition.
The suspect is described as approximately five feet nine inches tall, weighing around 170 pounds, with a slim build. He has blond hair, darker facial hair, and tattoos on both arms and his left leg.
