MINOT, ND (KXNET) — The North Dakota State Fair may be long gone, but the economic bump it's provided for the Magic City is here to stay — and not just because of tickets or concession costs.
Businesses throughout Minot saw a new influx of customers throughout the week in what city leaders hope will be a boost that's here to stay.
Every July, the North Dakota State Fair comes to Minot for a week of non-stop excitement. In addition to the usual batch of North Dakota neighbors, the fair draws visitors from Canada, Montana, Minnesota, and pretty much the entire Midwest.
