JOHNS ISLAND, S.C. (WCBD) - Some Johns Island residents have been experiencing delivery issues with FedEx for several years due to drivers not following instructions.
Bev Jenkins, a resident, has been dealing with his orders being misplaced. He said it has been frustrating since FedEx switched to an independent contractor a couple years ago. It has not been accommodating his specific instructions including a gate code and to leave packages at the front door.
"I order meals from a company called Factor and they deliver them weekly. On Sunday, FedEx made the delivery in the pouring down rain, they left my box under my mailbox up at the road and it rained on it all day long. I had a family member come up mid-afternoon and the box was just like mush. It was destroyed basically from the rain,
