NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) - North Charleston Police say they, with the help of U.S. Marshals, have arrested a man in connection to an armed robbery outside a neighborhood convenience store.

Ke’Amauri Malik Amin Saulters, 19, of North Charleston is charged with armed robbery using a deadly weapon and possession of a weapon while committing a violent crime.

Police say the robbery happened Aug. 6 outside a store on the 2500 block of Midland Park Road.

The victim told police he had bought drinks in the store and, as he was leaving, three men followed him out.

Reportedly, one of the men pointed a gun at the victim and forced him into a car.

Once inside, the three suspects are said to have demanded he give them his wallet.
