NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) - A man wanted in an Orangeburg County attempted murder case turned himself in and was arrested in North Charleston.
Zaquan Shaquez Jamison, 20, was arrested on warrants for several counts of attempted murder and possession of a weapon while committing a violent crime.
Jamison reportedly called into Charleston County dispatch Friday morning and identified himself, saying he wanted to turn himself in for his outstanding warrants.
Police ran a background check and reportedly discovered the charges he was wanted on and found that he was flagged as being armed and dangerous.
Officers detained him when he left a home on Evanston Boulevard. Jamison is said to have complied with officers’ commands.
