LEBANON, Tenn. (WSMV) - The Wilson County - Tennessee State Fair starts Thursday night in Lebanon. There are several major changes this year, including a new way to beat the traffic and get into the fairgrounds.

Two new entrance gates were created along Peyton Road as part of a new parking plan. Organizers said there will be 1,000 new parking spots when the project is completed next year.

They also wanted to make it easier for people to move around the fair with things like the new Sky Ride. That’s part of the more than $5 million that was invested in new rides and other attractions for this year.
