MINOT, ND (KXNET) — One local nonprofit is helping to make sure students go back to school this month with everything they need for the school year.
The Matthew 25 Project in Minot is holding a Back to School Supply Distribution this Saturday, August 16, from 2-4 p.m.
There will be backpacks filled with supplies donated from Land O'Lakes, including notebooks, folders, markers, pencils, crayons, calculators, and more.
The founder of Matthew 25 said they received plenty of donations from the community as well and that it really does make a difference.
"If we can just take a little stress off of them by having those school supplies available, and we know sometimes those school supply lists get kind of long and it gets expensive, especially if you have more than one child," Melissa Maasjo,
