NORTH LITTLE ROCK, Ark.– The statement, “You don't look like what you've been through,” rings true for one woman in Officer Tommy Norman’s neighborhood, Miss Rosa.

It's night and day inside her apartment compared to the first time Officer Norman visited.

"When I walked in, my voice echoes because there wasn't any furniture," Norman said.

For two months, Miss Rosa had only a chair and an air mattress with a hole in it. She would wake up on the hardwood floor because it would deflate.

Taking a walk around her newly furnished home, Norman says, "You could have played football in this room because there was so much space in it," describing the bedroom.

But now, Miss Rosa has a bed.
